Finally I managed to complete this vehicle with a coat of dust and some mud on the running gear.

Thank you Bryan. The earth effects are done with matt varnish and pigments. I first brush the varnish in the desired areas and then I "pour" the pigments and let gravity do its job. When the pigments are dry I add more varnish and more pigments until I get the expected result. If you're not happy with it you still can remove the excess with a stiff brush.
