A few more pics, fit is generally good so no need for filler so far. This is lucky as my usual Tamiya filler has dried up…hence I’ve started to do the cast and armour textures using the AK texturing paste. I’ve been happy with this product in the past so was happy to push on.

Looks great. Are you going to add tool straps, etc?

That’s the plan, the shovel in particular looks a bit silly just floating there. Somewhere in the spares box I’ve got some PE buckles, Tamiya tape is my go to for straps.

Good plan. I've got a partly started meng Jumbo on the pile of shame. I should get after it.

I'm a bit late to this build Adam. Sorry about that.
I like what you have done so far. Those tracks sound like a lot of work although the end result is very pleasing.
Cheers,
Vincent

Thanks Vincent,
Miracles do occur, my wife has taken up modeling…little diorama sets, almost light box stuff she’s sourcing out of Asia. This has the upside that progress on the Sherman has been rapid as we build side by side, the down side is I’ve lost half my work bench….
So, pretty much done, just need to do a big weld seam around the back of the turret.
The instructions tell you to cut the provided row cable braided wire to 123mm, this is way too short so will raid my stash of wire…
