I also struggled with cleanup of the pioneer tools as the plastic got brittle on these tiny parts. I decided to replace the solid tool clasps with 3d printed ones. I accidentally threw away a small PE plate, I lost a front tow hook, flung half a pry bar across the room, and did such a bad job of trimming one of the fender lights it was better to leave it off.
