Star Wars Quadjumper Ship in 1/35
I've been active, just not with an armor model. Some of you may have seen this over at the Modeler's Social Club. I enjoyed my last Scratchbuilt Star Wars ship so well that I've embarked on another one.
The landscape is nearly complete and the ship is at about 20%, I would guess.
The base I want:
The base I actually have:
Foam board melted with M.E.K.
Rock castings and acrylic bathroom sealant.
Dry landscape.
Epoxy water.
Landing deck over water.
And the ship itself:
This will be a lot of work for something which only had about 2 seconds of screen time.
But I like the overall look of the design and it will be a one-of-a-kind when finished.
Engines first.
Intake cowling.
Exhaust section castings.
Engine bodies.
Stage 1 compressor disks.
Cabin.
Lighting tests.
That's it for now! I'll post updates every couple of weeks.

That's some amazing scratchbuilding work.
Good thing every bit of Star Wars technology has about as much documentation as any real vehicle
....Do you think it's a bad sign I can immediately identify most of the leftover kit parts you used?
Philipp
