Good day gents

This has been in my stash for a while, and whilst things are quiet it seemed a good way to fire the building mojo after a lull with soldering.

This is what I would like to recreate

Following along with this sort of idea, as postered in the 30's

Older kit and older vehicles before Blitzkrieg was fully formulated

For being ""off it"" I seem to have been busier than I thought!

I really want to get some figures on the bench again, and my scribbing at work will get me there, its just that the soldering bug is still eating at me, Perhaps I can get it sorted soon.

Thanks for popping by,

More soon?

Certainly didn't expect that :)

Great choice Steve - Cant go wrong with Bronco :)

And how refreshing - to get the build done quickly to get to the exciting part - I'm jealous

Thanks chaps, its been a while,

Thanks Philipp, the top coat will be different ;)

Thanks Vlad, hard to see how she held a crew of 3, she is so small!

Thanks Vincent, it will be different ;)

Thanks Shawn, there aren't too many pieces, so fairly quick :D

Thanks Rob, Bronco have done a great job with this one, great to get to the paintwork but sadly until I have sorted out my paint-booth in the garage, it is going into the queue until better weather

Looks like you have some nice interior details there. Was it all included in the kit?

Hi Shawn

Sorry for the late reply, and unfortunately there is no extra interior with the Adler, just a chair, bench and a gun, I scratched all the other bits from the few references I could find. I was quite pleased with how it turned out ;)

And the update,

After the massively over engineered and astronomic parts count on the Sd. Kfz. 7 from Trumpeter, I thought I would step down a gear and do something simple,

Oh, how wrong was I!

There are only 2 of the 232 6-rad on the market the other is Italeri, I have the HiPM, with another Eduard PE set!

I found a review and build blog too, and for good measure a build blog of the Italeri, from an old favourite, Vinnie

http://www.internetmodeler.com/2001/sep ... or_rad.htm
http://www.internetmodeler.com/2001/aug ... kfz232.htm
http://www.militarymodelling.com/news/a ... 6-rad/3006
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/r ... it6433.htm

There are plenty of photos of the 6-rad and there seems to be lots of variety in how it looks!

Right into the ""simple"" build with nothing fitting, and I mean no 2 parts fitted together without scrapping, filing and filling afterwards!
This was going to be a change of pace, and possibly a labour of love, but it is just a labour and now a serious challenge to my stamina!
The build to date

So far simple engineering, as it is an 8 mm armoured coffin on a double axled lorry chassis
I made my next error by thinking the turret could be a nice simple distraction, again nothing fit and I had to add some scratch along with the Eduard PE hinges, hatches and guttering, along with the very nice RB barrels for the 2cm cannon and MG

This one is up to date,
