Love the mud Raoul

and I completely get what you mean Matt, not clinical and pristine mud, but mucky 8-)

Shawn's Pz III is an absolute gem

Chipping on Panzer Grey is a serious challenge, Raoul :?

In the spirit of shared knowledge and the AK DVD's I have been watching endlessly since starting the 70's GB

May I offer a small suggestion?, the brown will be a good starter for grey chipping and then possibly a lighter grey and/or the classic 822 on the panzer grey,
but I guess it will be a struggle to see it due to the closely matching dark colours.

Either which way, you really are getting stuck into your building these days, we need you to sleep so us mortals stand a chance ;)

Figures?

a Cat is a certainty 8-)

Love the clock too, have I already said that or just thought it?

The base is looking good too, just need several figures to fill the gaps and feed the cat/s :)

Thanks Steve! :D

I went ahead and tried to do some of the "minor" chipping following some of your suggestions.. it's all more or less invisible, but it's there and it kind of adds some credibility, so thanks! :D

I added the fasces bundle to the front from my redundant set of stowage for the 251C by Black Dog. Also the two shovels and the pick and axe where done, so only the mirror and the etched exhaust covers are still missing.

The street will evidently not stay quite as oily  .

I don't know how many figures there will be but it it's going to be something from my collection of early war German infantry, I have, for some reason or the other, accumulated set's from several manufacturers so I'll put them to use, maybe with "heads by Steve" - no pressure since I'll eventually have to put this on hold for a while anyway since I'll have to go through my chaos to actually find the figures sets   .
- of course there will be a cat observing all the human the hubbub  .

Respect for what you are achieving Raoul

But, I do have to disagree, if you click on the 231 photo and take it to 200% size you can clearly see your chipping and it looks good 8-)

It is a great example for my Pz II, which is the next phase, and I have some heads at the Data stage :?

If you have seen First contact you will understand

Photos in the morning as there is no light at the moment

nice progression , get some sleep too ;)

This specific pop-culture reference goes straight over my head (too young, too German or both   ), but I suppose it means a beer for Steve?

Wow... my chaos seems to be not all that bad... when dealing with 35th scale boxes that is   .

I managed to dig up the sets I intend to use figures from =>

It's really a shame about the Tristar figures, they where excellent and I really hope that HoBo will re-release them along with the kits.

On we go! On we go! (this is a phrase that has dug itself deeply into my brain, courtesy of my English teacher  )

I added the beautiful cast iron fence to the wall .. oh and everything is dry...at long last  .

Oh and please don't worry too much about me getting enough sleep, I manage to occasional get the other hour of shut-eye across the night and day  .
I'm touched by your concern though! :D

I must be getting slightly demented from sleep deprivation because I decided to build Ivy from single scale leaves.... to quote General McAuliffe: "NUTS!"
I really don't know if I'll do more of if or whether it remains a single twine since this single one took almost two hours for ~10cm  .
