As for the colour...just boring sand. Also figures wearing sand coloured uniforms. And a diorama base...with more sand.

These are so neat! I still have the Tamiya one I did many moons ago! Can't wait to see it finished!

Thanks Mark! :)

Yes, it's a nice little kit, even though there are a few parts that could be made better...

Speaking of which, I had to attach 8 small triangular PE brackets to the suspension before I could continue with the fenders. Of course, now you barely see them anymore......

Here we are right now:

The small storage box on the front has gaps that need generous amounts of putty, I still have to clean that up once it's dry.

Thanks Shawn! :)

It's a nice kit, once you've figured out how to handle it. If I ever build a second one it should be done much faster... 8-)

Construction so far is mostly complete with only a few etch pieces missing. I'll post some pictures later today once I get back home. I also got a nice resin figure to accompany it.

Nice work. I made one of these a while back and finished it as one abandoned on the beach at Dieppe. Thoroughly enjoyable build. I also have another in the stash to build at some stage.

To my surprise, assembly is complete:

My plan is to have the Dingo stuck in a dune and abandoned by its original owners. As for the figures, I had several scenarios in mind....and then I found this fellow, made by Warriors:

I preferr to call him the "great white hunter"....he even has a double barrel hunting rifle. He was probably disappointed that almost all the big game in North Africa was already hunted to extinction by the Romans

Currently on the workbench.... nothing: still to build a workbench.
On the shelf-of-shame... nothing: everything's still in boxes.

Good to hear from you again Frerik! :)

Paint will follow soon. I've decided to paint the interior in SCC2, mostly as a test for my Valentine
