Thanks Rob. Yes, the figure is 3D printed, beautifully executed although a touch pricey. It's from a French company called Reed Oak. They have quite a few to choose from, mainly modern aircrew at the moment though they do have some civilians as well. I thought I should get the best quality figure I could to make my first foray into figure painting. I think he will fit in nicely for what I have planned.

I've been watching their progress Vincent but hadn't seen the civilians - they are astonishing A glimpse of what is yet to come.

Looking forward to seeing this painted up

Well Philipp, all I can say without painting myself into a corner is that the setting won't be WW2.

The 3D thing is coming along quickly Rob. It's staggering what some people are able to produce these days. Bring it on I say.
Unfortunately at the rate I'm going painting the figure will be some time away.

I'm really curious what you'll do with it

I just read an interesting account - in the early 50s a Belgian smuggler used an M3 with fake Allied markings to smuggle coffee into Germany - several tons per trip. German border police weren't allowed to check Allied vehicles, but when they did find out it resulted in a wild chase during which the armour and offroad capacity of the M3 proved quite useful...

I haven't found a photo of this particular vehicle yet, but when I do it might have consequences
