Very nice Vincent! How about this scheme?

I had planned that for mine, but I don't mind you borrowing it

Hmmmm. I like that Philipp, thanks for sharing. :D I'm guessing that's yellow under the stripes?

The Zebra-Wespe would be nice with all the gear on it! :D

Thanks Raoul. I've built a few Tamiya kits and they all just come together really quickly. ;) I agree about the Zebra scheme. Looks really good. :)

Nice work mate, you really scored with that kit having Fruil tracks didn't you :geek:

This should be an unusual build for you seeing as you are not going to destroy it
Thanks Woody, it was a great find. :D
I admit my first thought was about how I was going to blow it up! Pity I couldn't find any decent reference pics.

Welcome aboard the Wespe train Shawn. :) I didn't know Tamiya did either. When I first saw the kit I thought it was just a bundle from the guy I bought it off but the huge sticker on the front of the box should have been a clue

Probably any combination of dark yellow, green and/or brown imaginable. Do what you want, nobody will prove you wrong

Pretty sure you could paint it any number of colours, looks like most camo schemes were either applied/touched up/modified in the field by their crews :D

Thanks Guys, you are quite right. ;)

The sequence for an open top vehicle is complicated to me, such as knowing when to paint before its too late or too early. :?
Anyway, this is where I'm up to.

I know the side walls are basic in the kit but I'm not going to do too much more here. I did drill out some of the cartriges in the ammo containers. That was fun....not.

Plus I did a little more work on the figures ala Vinnie style. ( MA Vinnie obviously, not me, though why I would refer to myself as Vinnie is too confusing to contemplate)

That's it for now. More bench time tomorrow. :D

Nice work. I'm too intimidated by open tops to want to tackle them.

Excellent work :D Will you add a few more extra pieces to the inside walls?

Bryan, the Tamiya Wespe is a fairly simple affair, a perfect start to practice open AFVs :D

I'm with you Bryan, I have a similar fear of kits with interior provided after I built one and overspray bled through my masking and I had to do touch-ups through the hatches :?

The figures are looking good!
