Adam Durrant wrote:Beautiful so far Vincent, I'd be checking twice when I masked all that up before painting the outside. Amazing how paint under pressure gets everywhere
Thanks Adam. I have been thinking about the best method to use on it.

Olivier Carneau wrote:Looks great with the interior painted. You'd better take your time to hide this all before your start painting the exterior. It would be a shame to ruin your job
Thanks Olivier.
You're right, masking it all up for the camo will be time consuming but hopefully worth it in the end.

The paint is on, decals are on but tools are off until I do the winter camo. This is what she looks like now, notice the wheels have been given the whitewash treatment already.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the camo on then I can move on to the weathering.
Cheers,

Ok, I've got a lot done on the camo front.
I was looking for something unusual in the same vein as Philipps "Zebra" scheme. I found this pattern in a book on the Wespe, the name of which escapes me. I don't know if it is accurate or not as the colour profile wasn't accompanied by a picture of the actual vehicle.
So if you are a stickler for accuracy, look away now

That is just the initial pattern sprayed over Chipping fluid. Once I was happy with the chipping I set about "mapping" the white. Mapping is simply highlighting aspects of the white to avoid a random colour. Hopefully, you can see that here.

Next up is the application of filters, washes, and chipping including rusty effects.

and a couple of close ups just for fun

I still have work to do at the front and rear, adding mud and splatter. I've left all the tools off during this process and I'm wondering now whether I should give them a coat of whitewash as well
.
Thanks for watching.
