Adam Durrant wrote:Beautiful so far Vincent, I'd be checking twice when I masked all that up before painting the outside. Amazing how paint under pressure gets everywhere :?
Thanks Adam. I have been thinking about the best method to use on it. ;)

Olivier Carneau wrote:Looks great with the interior painted. You'd better take your time to hide this all before your start painting the exterior. It would be a shame to ruin your job ;)
Thanks Olivier. :) You're right, masking it all up for the camo will be time consuming but hopefully worth it in the end.

The paint is on, decals are on but tools are off until I do the winter camo. This is what she looks like now, notice the wheels have been given the whitewash treatment already. ;)

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the camo on then I can move on to the weathering. :D

Cheers,

Ok, I've got a lot done on the camo front. :D
I was looking for something unusual in the same vein as Philipps "Zebra" scheme. I found this pattern in a book on the Wespe, the name of which escapes me. I don't know if it is accurate or not as the colour profile wasn't accompanied by a picture of the actual vehicle.
So if you are a stickler for accuracy, look away now

That is just the initial pattern sprayed over Chipping fluid. Once I was happy with the chipping I set about "mapping" the white. Mapping is simply highlighting aspects of the white to avoid a random colour. Hopefully, you can see that here. ;)

Next up is the application of filters, washes, and chipping including rusty effects.

and a couple of close ups just for fun :D

I still have work to do at the front and rear, adding mud and splatter. I've left all the tools off during this process and I'm wondering now whether I should give them a coat of whitewash as well :? .
Thanks for watching.
