I did some heretical experiments with the oil wash after pigments and I'm glad it worked out somehow

Despite the armour modeller cliché, putting mud on a model can be quite a challenge by itself....
Here's what I'm at right now:
I'm still trying to get a convincing wet apperance. A few minor touchups, then the tracks, possibly a small base too. Might be manageable within the next few weeks

Tracks are primed with MIG dark track colour...is it just me or do they smell like smoked ham?

Where is the update????? I always struggle with the mud / dirt and all the stages of weathering. It looks very realistic from where I am sitting.
