I did some heretical experiments with the oil wash after pigments and I'm glad it worked out somehow :? :lol:

Despite the armour modeller cliché, putting mud on a model can be quite a challenge by itself....

Here's what I'm at right now:

I'm still trying to get a convincing wet apperance. A few minor touchups, then the tracks, possibly a small base too. Might be manageable within the next few weeks ;)

Tracks are primed with MIG dark track colour...is it just me or do they smell like smoked ham? :? :lol:

Where is the update????? I always struggle with the mud / dirt and all the stages of weathering. It looks very realistic from where I am sitting.
