Thanks Philipp. :D

Rushing to get this done by the end of the month, not realizing the deadline has been pushed back a month, I just about have this build finished.

Locust is done with the exception of the hatched being attached. Some stowage added from Value Gear.

Figures are also done. Really happy with how they turned out. The jury is out on the AK flesh paint set. I really don't like the consistency of the paint. The US paratroopers face and hands were painted with the AK set. I just bought 5 different AK sets a few months ago.

Base almost finshed. Somemore ground work to do. I added roots for some vines, but I still have to add leaves.

I would say 2-3 more hours and the build should be done. :D :D

Thanks for looking

Now that you're finished you can use the extra month for another GB entry

The figures look amazing, just like everything else!

Very nice Shawn, Very nice indeed :D

The Next GB is a figure vignette or engineering vehicle, I think?

1st July for 6 months, I know what I will be trying ;)

I think it might be a chance to use the AK set again :D

Always excellent work Shawn

The figures are sensational Shawn. I really like the base and the addition of the vines is a great touch too. :)

Adam

Take a look at this blog http://plasticarmour.com/phpBB/viewtopi ... y&start=50

I explained how I made the trees on page 6. I made them the same way for this blog. For some reason you cant view any of the pics on the first page but they seem to be fine after that.

The base for the shrubs is this material from the scenic factory here is the US : http://www.thescenicfactory.com/product_p/shb-01.htm

He has great diorama products and some great videos on Youtube. If you don't want to make them yourself you can buy shrubs that already have the leaves on them.

The leaf material is from Scenic Express http://www.sceneryexpress.com/SuperLeaf ... s/1289/2/0

I bought different colors and just mix them up alittle. I bought the ECO pack size and these will last me a life time.
