Aw...double crap. Well, only set me back $8 so can't complain too much!

Steve- I used Aves Apoxie sculpt for the Beret- It dries hard and can be sanded. Greenstuff for the hair, and other details. I find this easier to use for small details because it adheres better to small areas. However, you can not sand this it remain a little soft.

Adam- I guess the figures are not horribly bad. It just depends on what you want out of your figures. Lots of guys focus on the vehicle and add figures for multiple reason. I guess, I need to admit to myself that I am a figure painter so I will spend just as amount of time on the figures as I do vehicles. I have hours just detailing this guy.

Oliver- Only the two figures. I was going to do more, but I am ready to finish this build and move onto something else. I can easily spend 15 plus hours per figure.

Chris- Thankfully I am going late war because I did not know these uniforms were late war. But on the flip side, I really don't go for that type of accuracy so in the end it does not matter to me.

I finished building the figure. Over all I am really please with the exception of where the Lanyard attached to the pistol. The attachment just looks to big for this pistol. OCD really kicked in after looking at the first photos I posted. The belt buckle was not centered so I had to fix it.

A question to you expert figure detailers, once you have scribed detail do you use Tamiya thin cement to smooth out the burrs and rough edges?

I'm by no mean an expert but when I happen to detail figures this is exactly what I do.

You don't have to apologize, and like the other guys said, I use Tamyia extra thin to wipe away the burrs. But the brush needs to be almost dry of glue. If you use to much it will dissolve the detail you worked so have to scribe.
