The light tanks built by the minor Axis allies and associated powers are somehow intriguing - essentially outclassed from '41 latest but soldiering on .

Upper hull is done. Thankfully, the PE only needed some minor bending.



THus far, this has been a really easy kit. Very little cleanup on the parts, except for mold seams. I'll move on to the turret next.

I brought some Fruil tracks for this and I'm going to need a microscope to put them together. Those links are really small.

Question for you all. Did Hungarian tank crews wear German equipment?

And here we have the turret. Very simple build, no fit problems, no flash,



I also found a little time to start some work on the Fruil tracks. As usual, every link had to be drilled out. Unfortunately, the tracks are so small that I've managed to destroy about half a dozen because they bent while I was drilling them out. Every time I've used fruils a .5mm bit is used. These link are so small, they use a .4mm, which I don't have. I put them aside until I can get a smaller bit.

Hi guys,

A minor update. Or major, depending on your point of view. I've completed the fruil tracks. Tedious little...&@%&^!#@....tracks. Not only tiny, but fragile. I am surprised that I had enough spares to complete each run.

Any way. they're done. I painted them Tamiya Gun Metal.



Now, on to painting!

Nice work! The obsession 1930's tank designers had with tiny track links is really strange... Here link&lenght tracks would have been the perfect solution.
