Thanks Philipp and Vincent.

Flak 38 is just about finished. Shields will be attached once some paint is applied. I also assembled the bed.

I have not painted a figure in over 2 years. Enough procrastinating, brushes came out and I dusted the cobwebs off. The figure without the shirt was very challenging and took several hours / days to paint.

Thanks

Very nice results on the figures! Did you use acrylics, oils, enamels?

Good detail work too.

Bryan- I use Acrylics. MY favorites are Vallejo, but I used Ammo paints for the figure without the shirt. It work out well, but I still prefer Vallejo.

Thanks Vincent.

This is why I never participate in group builds. I can never finish one on time.

I cannot decide what I want to build next so I decided to work on this again. NO promises that IM going to finish it though.

I really had some problems with the Leadwarrior kit. Lots of the prices were bent. I decided to add a covered window using greenstuff. I had to scratchbuild the cab doors. I'm not 100% sure on how I am going to paint this.

I gave everything a basecoat of German Gray. I'm going to try to show the cargo bed in a wood grain so I applied three different wood colors for the base color. I'm not sure if I am going to use oil paints over this. Every time I do that, I seem to have a problem removing to much and it removes the base colors.

Good to see you back on this Shawn. Some projects just like to stall you at every opportunity it seems.

You're definitely not alone with this, I have unfinished builds from long before this site's predecessor was even founded...
