Re: Panzerspähwagen M8(a)
Thanks for the input
Accurate or not, the interior is now painted and weathered. Not very carefully because most of it will be invisible anyways. I'll add a few personal items before I put on the lid permanently.

You've been super quick with this one Philipp. I like those figures too. Nice.

Thanks Vincent

I built this kit in 2008, so, some of the next links can be off line nowaday, but I hope some be useful for the (already painted ) interior details

Re: Panzerspähwagen M8(a)
Many thanks Dario! That should be really useful...next time
Didn't get anything done this week thanks to a complete lack of time and energy for pretty much anything not related to work, but here's some progress:
It really is a Panzerspähwagen M8(a) now
Painting as usual with Tamiya, basic shade with Olive Drab, then highlights with a very thin OD/dark yellow mixture. I then oversprayed all areas that would have US markings with dark green. The Balkenkreuze were hand-painted. It's more or less ready for weathering now.

Thanks Vincent! I was terribly afraid to ruin the kit by hand-painting them...looks like I was lucky this time
Placed some ammo and assorted materials into the visible areas of hull and turret:
And here's the obligatory red item, carefully put there by the previous crew and left in place for obvious reasons

Nothing too serious today, just some subtle chipping with a sponge:
Still need to finish the drive before I glue the roof on.

Not a bad looking interior for an OTB build. I really like it Philipp.
